Post the vin# on the site asking info on the car. You might get lucky and find someone who is able to check it out for you. Post on the general forum to capture more traffic. Also post it on the e90 general section. BMWCCA is a great resource. Members there would rather sell their car to a fellow enthusiast than hand it back to the dealer. They will also tell you everything about the car instead of just saying it has a clean carfax...which is bs crutch imo. Remember carfax is a dealer supported document.
F80 will probably roll into dealer showrooms within 18months. Once they do, the current generation will take a bigger than normal depreciation hit. You will see many trade ins and lease returns hit the lot.
