The newly installed KW S/O performed better than I expected this past weekend. Although, there was a slight squirmish feeling in the rear on high G corners, the rear tires was always planted and it never felt skitish. I was able to run a 2:31:590 this weekend at MSR Cresson, my last session. I have no time comparisons as this weekend was also my first time at this track.
I was bumped from Blue to Yellow the 1st day and so got the chance to evaluate the corner balancing by running solo the 2nd day. I can say that the cornering grip with this setup is a definate improvement over the Eibach springs. I was able to explore the limits of the NT01's (requires a 5 mm spacer up front), which felt planted at all times. I did end up lowering a total of 0.6 in in front and 0.75 in rear more than the Eibach springs after settling. The combination of increased lowering, corner balancing and increased spring rates all contributed to the improvements noted.
