This is probably not the case. If installed at the dealer, they most likely used a special industrial adhesive that BMW sells called
Betalink. It will not come off very easily at all. In fact , I have heard that you will break the CF piece before you will break the adhesive bond. I used Betalink to install my CF parts, and this is what BMW specs for installation.
Leave it as is.
