Is there ANY benefit to paying for the iPod/USB adapter when equipped with iDrive? I saw that you can just plug your iPod into the updating USB connection in the glove box and from what I'm reading it appeakers to work normally.
My questions are:
Do the screens look any different?
Is there any difference in functionality?

Basically I'm trying to decide if it's worth the $400.
