I will be the 1st person to recommend Audi
I had over 100k miles on my B6 A4 and that car still ran like a dream. I had 9 years of history with that car and nothing I've owned or driven previously would come even close to it's quality, performance, function, and practicality.
No major issues mechanically or electrically. Serviced on it's proper mileage service times and maintenance and upkeep was done consistently by me, never gave me ANY issues.
You could have racing slicks on in a blizzard and quattro would keep your ass on the road, imo no other AWD system even comes remotely close to it.
Only con I ever saw with the Audi is the same con you see with all luxury/high end brands, servicing can at times be on the expensive side, especially if replacing parts (if you can perform your own maintenance - problem is solved )... but other then that, the quad ring is still nothing less then amazing.
