Wait till you get a few (several hundred at least) on it.

What I like about it (this is my daily driver) at low throttle openings or steady state on roads or freeway it's almost as quiet as stock, just a touch louder. The stock exhaust has just the slightest drone but this exhaust has none (with stock x-pipe). Above 3,500 to 4,000 rpm is where it's most noticeable, louder, deeper and has a nice note (this is really just personal preference and no recording captures what it sounds like in real life). At WOT and high rpm it's substantially louder than stock. The characteristics of the sound are hard to describe but most people like it. My non-BMW friends just say it sounds mean.
