Little bit of trouble. I should have read your instructions completely as I did the install. A friend of mine did the install (he's a BMW tech) and the only page I got for the install was page 4. He quickly figured out that the harness was done wrong because we hooked it up, blinked green one time, and then did nothing but throw the error on the dash. We rewired it and tried it again with the same result. The only thing different we did was take the red wire to the + terminal of the battery and the brown wire to the - terminal of the battery. My friend laughed because the instructions said the brown goes to PIN31 wire. It says 31 on the diagram because that is an actual BMW diagram. He said 31 means ground and so it should work going straight from the battery. Not sure how to make this thing work now.
