While I think the F10 5 series is a beautiful car, it's not particularly distinctive. The E60 was absolutely unique and worked.

I agree, I actually liked the e60 and was seconds away from buying a e60 M5 w/ 42k miles (2006 yr), but thanks to folks in the M5 forum they informed me of the risks so I passed. I still would have an e60 in my garage if I could afford two cars.
