Try this. I did and it worked pretty good. So good if it happens again I know I can do an even better job.

They match BMW Fox Red as one of their library colors. Nothing will be perfect but this will address the coloring issue. The leather roughness often requires a light sanding of the surface. I didn't have to do that.

Basically a drop or two of dye, dilute with some water, and then slowly dab he mixture feather and using less build up to blend and where the color is not entirely gone.

You could also get replacement seat covers from BMW Parts but at hundreds of dollars plus. I would try this first.
