I said to myself that I would not use my ///M3 as a DD but when I go to bed at night, after taking care of my girl, all I can do is think about the ///M3. In the morning, after I take care of my girl, I can't wait to get in the ///M3 and drive; even if it's only for six miles to go to work.
The sound of the V8, the softness of the leather and the bad-ass factor of the M3 makes my morning that much better.
So yes, as a DD it is great! Extremely comfortable inside and the ride quality is sublime; however, get ready to feel the pain at the pump...LOL.
