I always like to say that people are most offended by the truth. If you call me fat when, in fact, I cut a lean, muscular figure, I'm not going to take much out of it. If, however, you call me fat and I resemble an amoeba more so than a human man in his prime - a fact that most people of the type would consciously prefer to avoid - I'm probably going to be rather upset about it.
I was surprised that they never once mentioned how bad the average American driver is. Granted, I haven't been inside UK proper in some years, so maybe they didn't find them to be that bad after all...
