Also, it is not all in shaving off the weight and putting 800 HP under the hood.
I just read today the comparo (Popular Mech Magazine) of Porche Turbo (3600 lbs, 480 HP, <500 TQ) vs. C6 that is 3200 lbs, >500 HP, >500 TQ. Porche beats it 0-60, 1/4 mile all over the place...
