No sarcasm...just seems counter intuitive.
I read on a thread here stating when you floor it from a stop, the clutch slips a little on purpose to produce a smooth start. LC on the other hand is a controlled clutch drop intended to protect the tranny and keep the clutch from slipping/glazing. The computer controls those two in different ways. Something to this effect was in the thread of how to maintain your tranny with a vt650.
