Which exhaust are you running? If you have all 4 cats, but they are just HFC you might be ok, but if you're running something like the Akra EVO you will fail the visual portion of the inspection due to the missing cats.

Either way, your best bet will be to pass the roadside emissions test, which IIRC will need to be done twice within 60 days of your renewal date. With my Akra I just barely passed the manual sniffer test, and that was after driving the car extremely hard on the way to the testing center to make sure the cats were operating at max efficiency. The roadside vans are quite a bit more sensitive so I would try and cruise or coast by gently whenever you see a van.

Also, I haven't confirmed this, but another member mentioned they received an emissions notice triggered by a roadside vans even though their renewal wasn't due for a few months. Just something to think about.
