I've only grinded gears twice ever as long as i've owned it, the grinds were experienced about 4k miles ago at 82k mi.. Mind you, I don't slam gears, smooth operator here, best for tracking

OP, extended maintenance is ONLY worth it if you need to replace ur brakes soon. other than that, waste of money. brake job exceeds the cost of the Extended Maintenance.
