I highly doubt that it is a 110 motor, being a commercial unit it is probably 220 or 240.look inside there should be a schematic which will give you the specs.
It should also be marked on your fuse panel,get a meter and check it.
They do make 110v/220v motors it depends on how you wire them
I would call the manufacturer and explain the isue the should be able to tell you what is wrong
