If you follow the directions, then you wont have those problems
Look at carbon fiber for example. The thinner and less layers used, the shittier and weaker it is. Use more layers and build it up, and its as strong as steel.
Apply a few coats of this and you will be set. The stuff is thin when applied. 1 application layer will give you problems. You have to do at least 3 and overlap ALL brush edges.
