Option 1, many times. Just paid HST, no duty.
I've also heard good experiences of shopping local, but across the border at a US shop. Mount, balance, and drive home.
I haven't found anyone local that can come close to the pricing through option 1. If anyone has any dealer recommendations in the Greater Vancouver Area, I'll definitely check it out!
