Lighten up, Argonboy. OP is just asking a simple question. I had wondered the same thing in the past as my '97 M3 did have the fogs. I knew the openings were functional, but as someone else noted, they are pretty large and one would think that BMW would have worked them in, if they desired. Perhaps it will be a part of a future facelift.
V8 Power... enjoy the ride. It seems from your garage that you certainly enjoy doing that.
