That plastic nub can easily be dremeled off. The bigger concern is the metal fender towards the front of the car. Aggressive fitments will contact the metal at about 10:00 on the drivers side and 2:00 passenger side. When IND works the rear fenders for wider wheel fitment this is the area that they address. Not the top (12:00) as some people assume.
