My understanding is that Manufacturer dimensions are helpful but not necessarily consistent across brands. Despite the dimensions that you point out above, my experience has been that AD08's run wider and more square than the PSS (or any other tire). I do however think the PSS is a little wider towards the bead due to the larger rim protector built into the design. I know you have had both tires. Don't you agree that the AD08 seems to be wider than the PSS at the shoulder/tread width in the real world?
