I don't think a G37 is even in the same ball park. I test drove a G37 twice and the 7-speed auto transmission is just junk. It could never make up it's mind on what to do. As for the engine, it's really not a comparasion to the 335i. With the BMW, you get the torque pretty early and it's steady power from that point on. With the G37, like many Japanese cars, torque is a function of highER rpm's.
