They absolutely suck in the wet, so if it rains, you're in trouble...
R-comps are more prone to pick up road debris and and as such are more prone to get a puncture. So consider the risk.
NT01 don't really need to be heat cycled or broken in.

As long as your alignment is reasonable, it should be no problem.
But, DON'T drive it in the rain, especially on the highway.
