You would think that they would throw him the ball once in a while, but they seem to have a penchant to wait until third down to do that, and if it's a third down pass, he's sure to drop it.
Amazing how many teams out there do their best to get the ball in the hands of their best athelete. Funny how the Lions haven't caught on to that concept. You would have thought CJ only played 10% of offensive snaps last year. Then again, all you had to do was blanket him, and the offense was sure not to do shit else. With that porous O line and the fact that Nick Harris is probably the best quarterback on the team, it wasn't exactly hard to play defense against us.
Anyway, the defensive needs were not addressed satisfactorily, and so opposing offensive players will continue to rack up career-best numbers against us, and we'll keep adding to the NFL record books for all the wrong reasons.
