Knicks still have a chance at keeping the 8th seed, just keep winning games, and hopefully Hawks and others keep losing games. They need some help but it's possible! A first round matchup against Miami though, ouch.

Yeah agreed but they have a VERY VERY tough road where they basically have to win out (they can probably lose 1 or 2 games and still make it if the Hawks keep failing)......and while the Knicks would be ousted by Miami, a lot of people don't realize that they actually match up pretty well.
The last time they played Miami in the playoffs, Amar'e hit a fire extinguisher and was out the rest of the series, and our best defender (Shumpert) went down with an ACL tear in the first game. Knicks have been DYING for another playoff matchup with the Heat.
Be careful of what you wish for, but it would be so much more entertaining for the NBA to see Knicks/Heat in first round rather than Hawks/Heat, just my biased opinion of course.
