▀▄ eas | In-House 231E Software Update Special - includes Before/After Dyno - $250

We have seen a number of early M3s making significant power gains from updating their Engine ECU (DME) to 231E. Here are 2 separate instances in which the 231E flash has showed considerable gains.

As your premier BMW tuner in Socal, we are determined in squeezing maximum power out of your BMW while keeping it as reliable as possible. Our in-house Dynojet 224xLC dyno is the perfect tool to benchmark your BMW (horsepower, torque, air/fuel & boost), and recommend adjustments and/or modifications to increase power levels.

231E Software Update Special Includes:
- ID of Current Software Version
- VIN report of vehicle, showing maintenance history
- Before Dyno Pull, with AFR reading
- Flashing of 231E Software using Autologic Diagnostic tool and proper power stabilization.
- After Dyno Pull with AFR Reading
- Detailed Dyno Chart showing before/after results

231E tests were performed on 2008 M3s, one 6MT and the other DCT-equipped:

MY08 6MT, 080E vs 231E

This particular M3 failed smog, even after plugs were replaced. DME was Identified as 080E, indicating very old SW from 2008. Updating to 231E provided an 18hp gain in power, cured his misfiring issue and was able to pass emissions.

MY08 DCT, 100E vs 231E

This 2008 DCT with 100E ran a very low baseline. While his car was in for the VF620 supercharger - we wanted to perform a before/after test on SW versions to prove this wasn't only a theory before the supercharger was installed. As a result - all DMEs are now updated to the latest versions before tuning/supercharger installation.

After updating, a 20hp gain in power was achieved - looking much better than its baseline run, with a much smoother power curve.

The highly versatile Dynojet Model 224xLC is the perfect choice for tuning your BMW. Based on the 224x dyno, the 224xLC offers the simplicity and ease of use of an “inertia only dyno”, along with advanced testing capabilities of a Eddy Current load style dyno. Perform A-to-B comparison tests to quantify gains from various performance products, or enable the load control feature to perform step, sweep, or road load simulations, being much more effecting than street tuning.

After a dyno session, we will provide you with highly detailed feedback and information about your car's performance. Accurate readings such as horsepower, torque, boost pressure, exhaust temperature, air/fuel ratio and more will allow you to see your cars improved performance when your new modifications are installed.
