I've clocked a little over 200kph at several track days in replicas using only 3M tape. No issues.

You may need to use silicon to fill the gap between the lip and bumper to prevent girt and dirt from wedging and separating the lip.

It helps to use primer to clean contact surface, then use a C-Clamp (use cloth to prevent scratches) to compress the lip and bumper together so that it'll bond properly.

Was told to leave the c-clamp on for it to bond for 4 hours or so. I only waited around 45 mins before I told them to remove the clamps.
