Your correction isn't quite correct in my opinion because you left out the
"And quality" part... I have owned VMR wheels before and they are OK but you get what you pay for in weight, finish and quality. The Advans are more money for sure but better quality. The finish on my VMRs was less than perfect from new and degraded quickly. They also weighed as much as a small pickup truck and were VERY hard to properly balance. The hardest wheel to balance I ever owned. They aren't bad value but definitely not a quality/weight leader by any stretch of the imagination.
