I feel like this has just turned in to a legal debacle in which both sides are going to have to vomit jargon back and forth until one concedes on a technicality. What I don't understand is if Husker is willing to incur any costs to rebuild their reputation, why wouldn't they just take the loss on the car in the first place as a 'cost' to maintain a reputation.

As for the threats regarding libel and legal action..... have fun suing 800,000+ people who have propagated the negativity surrounding your dubious business practices.
