I had A-One Auto Body in Huntington Beach do my body work, so I can't comment on INDs painting process. My hood looks nice and smooth but when looking directly at it in the sun you can see the carbon fiber weave under the paint, not unlike a Ferrari F40. It doesn't bother me.

I like running without the spoiler, it makes the back of the car look more sleek and hunkered down.
