It really depends on what settings you drive on. For the first week that I own my M, I was getting 12.5 because I was driving with the M button and manual all the time. Now that I mellowed out (a little) my normal setting are, well "normal" (one light on EDC) and I'm getting 18.5 with 93 octane.
