It sounds to me that the second and third times you went to use LC, something turned it off. Did you happen to notice the chckered flag icon just before hammering the throttle? I mean, if you roll, touch the brakes, touch the gas, etc. it cancels the LC. Also, just as an FYI, many people have reported better success launching the car without the LC engaged. Some folks have even reported serious sideways action as well, which could be dangerous at a drag strip with walls lining the lanes.
