Good choice.

I just fought a reckless (careless in PA) and had it knocked down to failure to obey a traffic device or something like that. No points and a $120 fine. Lawyer cost a grand, though and I missed a day of work. Very very expensive; and the cop even admitted he was having a bad day when he wrote me.

I get pulled over about twice a year and get points about 1 out of 4 times. I can't afford to lose my license, so a lawyer is good insurance if there is any doubt.
