I'm 44 and wouldn't own another MB or an Audi if they were the last cars on earth. Bought the wife a 2006 MB C230 with that miserable 7 speed autotrans. Always hesitates when accelerating, whereas BMW is instant power. Her MB will be 2 years old in July and has about 5500 miles on it. We are taking ED of my E92 335i in July and will look forward to another ED in a couple years to get her back into a BMW.
Also, love the 3 series and have no inclination to move up to a 5 or 7 series, ever.
