R888's should hold your power. They are sticky!!! But if you are wanting every .001 in a drag launch that is a "street" tire, the ET Street will hook great. I've ran both and they both have +/- 's. What they both have in common is they suck goat balls when it gets even just a touch of water on the road.
If your looking for something to drive daily and lean to roll-ons and drag launches but don't do too much hard cornering. The Nitto Invo is a great tire and it can handle rain easily. It has a bit softer sidewall with a pretty sticky compound witch not only gives it a nice ride but also it power handing ability.
It depends on what you are willing to compromise on and what you are using the tire for.
