Thats great, so it would be out of the dealer sooner. btw i believe the dealer also has to "prepare" the car such as installation of CD changer and some minor stuff. but if the manager is your friend, tell him to get it to you.
my car was on the boat on Thursday, dealer learnt it Friday morning, OC updated to "en route" on Sunday.
