What is your goal in "going after" anyone I would say good riddance to your wheels be happy it did not total your car or anything worse and make a more informed decision next time.
I will guarantee this wheel said JWL/SAE on the back. Every cast wheel I have seen has this it really doesnt mean much on a wheel or component made in China.
At the top of this forum is a thread about how wheels are made and the quality of each process I would start there with your decision making.
