The E90 is technically still in production until January in one of the factories its built in (I forget which one). US production is done though, yes. Still, even if we talk about the European factories, which have just stopped E90 production, we are talking only about three months early or so. MY 2005 E46 sedans were only in production until Jan 2005.

The E92 followed the E90 by a year and a half. The gap was from March 2005 until September 2006. SCOTT has already said we should expect that same time span again. I look at the F32 mules and I can't see what would make me believe he's wrong. The only conclusion that makes sense is that the F32 is a second-half 2013 car. And I firmly believe there's an MY2013 E92 (and E93) coming, to be produced from July 2012 until about the end of Q2 2013. At this point I'm going to be shocked if it doesn't play out like this.
