Good morning guys and gals. I'm in the process of purchasing my first used bmw m3. I had it inspected at the bmw dealership and everything turned out great. However the SA could not provide me with a warranty inquiry for the vehicle. He said he ill have to get it from BMW Canada which means ill have to pay the $500 fee and change out my idrive system and cluster which is not necessary. I've heard stories of people who got this letter from a US BMW dealer and they we able to bypass the cash grab BMW Canada has setup! I live in Canada and i need this inquiry or recall clearance letter for me to be able to bring it across the border. If anyone could help me get this letter it would be greatly appreciated or if you could point me to a dealership who would do this for me. I know this is a long shot any help would be great. I just want to have my M3! Thanks
