I've enjoyed the sound of every BMW engine that I've owned (except the N63 in the 550i, which has no sound). I like hearing engines idle but I also like hearing them with the throttle applied while the car is stationary. Maybe it's because I'm mechanically inclined, who knows. So where should I open the throttle if I want to hear the engine? I certainly can't do it in my garage . . . .
