Sorry to be the bearer of bad news - those seats won't be making it to the U.S. Our leaders are smarter than those in the rest of the world, and have deemed it necessary for us to have thorax airbags in our seats (as well as our doors). We get to pay for those airbags, and the additional fuel needed to carry them.

Moreover, auto manufacturers choose not to deal with the U.S. regulatory police, and often don't bring their best products here.
