You all just keep on reading magazines and quoting specs. I owned an e46 M3 and am on my second e90 M3. No doubt the e9x M3s are better cars than the e46 M3s. However, they are bland and nowhere near as engaging as the e46 was. After both are obsolete (not too far into the future, BTW) it will be the damned fun e46 that collectors will want not the generic e9x.
This is what I was getting act not trying to provoke lol. I hear the same thing from many e9x drivers. Fun equals more engaging for most....not 3 10ths of a second quicker at the cost of 300 lbs. The most fun time you have in your car is whe. You are on a drive alone on a cool morning/night....when you take 1 or 2 friends for a ride you can notice how it is weighed down and slower....this is the same effect with the extra weight of an e9x when I drive them it just isnt as raw
