Another tire choice is the Toyo R1R. 140 wear rating, but fairly durable, in my experience. It is one of the tires of choice for rain and cooler weather for a lot of autocrossers competing in 'non-"R"-tire' classes. I use them on my daily driver M3 in 265/35x18 and am quite happy with them. They are a summer tire, but have decent grooving and are okay in the rain if you exercise appropriate caution. They may not hold up to HPDE events as well as the ADO8 or RE11, but are $100 less per tire.
