Actually, that makes car harder to control. Too bouncy. Normal street pressures are quite OK ... And alway better tires at the back or, if $$$ permits, 4 equal good tires with as much grip as possible.
Winter tires at the back, high pressures, old tires and stuff like that is for children ... It's no fun sliding around at low speeds.
