With the E90 M3 you can get the full 3 1/2 years, with the E92/93 aswell if you wait till the facelift. So everything's right IMO, everybody can decide for him-/herself what's the best moment to get a new M.

Good points. But, 3 1/2 yrs is close enough and doesn't change my strategy that much. I'll just trade in after 3 1/2 yrs or lease for no more than 42 mos. All sounds good to me.
