I have a few times as rentals in Europe. Focus and Megane. The power delivery is fun in that you surf the wave of torque. Bottom line is that torque is what we use in daily driving. Very few people actually bother to push an engine to the upper reaches of the tach. It takes a bit getting used to, but is awesome.
