I had thought about the TPC route but the Cayman R has such a high compression ratio and pushing it with boost didn't seem like the way to go. There is a reason 911 turbo motors are built like truck engines with heavy duty components-to stand up to all the strain. Plus I had been hearing from enought people that have had issues with the turbo conversion it gave me pause. The tried and true displacement and race grade motor components sounded much better way to go.
