see attached - with top up, i can fit two carry bags in my trunk. one through the pass through vertically, and one right above that horizontally. with top down, i think you may be able to fit two bags in if you shove both tops of the bag into the passthough but i didnt focus on that as it was 40 degrees in NYC this morning...
