My friend Jerome (before he sold his M3) had an 08 E92 with the secondary cats pulled out, and I was not a fan of the sound at all. Much less refined and way too raspy. Make sure you listen to a car with this setup first before you do it to yours. Maybe in conjunction with a rear section mod it would sounds better.
