Is that ONLY an OEM style clutch for use with the OEM flyhweel or is that a smaller diameter ligthweight clutch with a new flywheel? I'm not saying a Tilton setup won't be expensive. They sell awesome expensive parts. That isn't an M tax because their parts are expensive no matter what car you drive. Now selling a modified OEM style clutch for $3700 that just has more material on the clutch disc sounds expensive to me. What are all the details on this Gintani clutch? It says it feels like stock which probably means they didn't modify the pressure plate for more clutch pressure.
